Joost: Maybe the future of TV

Joost sent me a beta invitation last week and I had the chance to use Joost today. I can definitely say that Joost is a very promising piece of software.

It out-performs youtube.com in so many ways. You can now watch regular TV on your computer by just installing a piece of software. They have lots of channels to choose from. I like the Fight Network (as seen on the images above).

The controls and the user interface isn’t bad but can be improved (responsiveness of the TV controls sometimes lags) — and this depends on your Internet connection too.

Overall, with user feedbacks and improvements, Joost may be the future of TV. This is nice if you want to work and at the same time glance from time to time to Joost.

Definitely cheaper than to buy a tv converter.

Kudos to Joost (Niklas Zennstrøm and Janus Friis)!

More programs please!
