PURPOSE OF WORK: Upgrade
IMPACT OF WORK: See Bellow
BlueArc engineers, our partners in storage, will be conducting a scheduled upgrade on the Titan High Performance Network Storage appliances. This work will begin April 26th, 2010 between hours of 7:00 PM CST and 11:00 PM CST.
During this scheduled maintenance window all accounts that are currently utilizing BlueArc Enterprise storage will be offline for the duration of the upgrade.
This upgrade will involve upgrading current Titan 2000 (http://www.bluearc.com/html/products/titan-2000.shtml ) to Titan 3000 (http://www.bluearc.com/html/products/titan-3000.shtml).
This will further improve our reliability and dependability on our storage.

I don’t suppose anyone ever thought of scheduling this after 11 pm PDT (when a majority of Facebook users in the U.S. are bedded down for the night), huh?
